Fishing in Galway

Hi am goin to fish in Inverin beside Spiddal in Galway this week.I am new to fishing and as I am addicted already I just want to target Sea trout,Bass,Mullet,flounder,pollack etc.I will be spinning and using bait and jus want to know if its better to fish off rocks or on the beach.I know fishing is slow at the moment but what are my chances of catching some fish?
