Re: Galway 11-04-10
Hi everybody,
I'm new to the board so first, I'll introduce myself. I'm Had, I live in France and as my sister works in Galway, I'm going there next week (from Sunday April 4th to April 10th). I'm just crazy of bass fishing. I spend all my summers to fish bass in Brittany and I heard and read lots of things about fishing in Ireland (Galway and Kerry) so I'm quite excited to come in Galway to fish. In France it's not the best period but I don't really know in Ireland.
So please, can someone tell me if it's possible to fish with lures (topwater, minnows, soft baits) from shore during this week. And I'd like to know the species I can target. I usually fish bass, pollack and wrasses. I heard about seatrout, is it possible to catch it with bass lures ?
And which lures are the best in the Galway area ?
I know it's lots of question but I really don't know anything about the area
Thanks,
Had
PS : If someone wants to fish with me during this week, I'm open !
