Fished Kilcoole tonight for about three hours with mb.3. Wild, wet and windy night. Not the sort of time to be forgetting your waterproofs :oops: I got a half decent codling around the 2lb region in the first couple of casts and then the doggy plague began! kind of strange because there was a really big surf running and we were picking them up right in the middle of the breakers. Mark got a nice little codling around 33cm midway through the session and then I got a small bass on the last cast. Bait for the night was fresh peeler and all fish were taken within 50 - 60 yards. Tough going in that weather but an enjoyable nights fishing all the same.
