Minty,

I'll be watching this post with interest. There's an outside chance that'll I'll be getting my first trip of the season tomorrow. Failing that I've 3 free days next weekend and will definitely be out.

I was thinking about a spot of Sea Trout & flattie hunting in Strangford Lough.

just checked the tides and waterfoot seems to be the best bet as high tide is at about 10pm and fishing in daylight is useless i've been told

Guys,

I'm pretty much free from tea-time on Sunday right through to Tuesday evening!

However to my untrained eye the tides for evenings/nights look pretty poor.

Is there any point going out during daylight hours?

I live in Belfast but happy to travel (obviously).

Plan A was Waterfoot but the tides look especially poor here.

At the minute a trip to Strangford Lough for Seatrout is looking most likely. The low tides concentrate them into smaller areas.

I'd be happy for any pointers. (PMs welcome).

Thanks, Alan.
