Re: TG rocket F1 reel
We had a look at one at a UKSF event last year, Tony brought it down for people to try before it was launched but TBH we wernt really impressed with it, dont know anyone who actually bought one and at that price i dont think we will see one any time soon, unless you go for it ronnie

Re: TG rocket F1 reel
Get 3 good fixed spools!! Unless it comes with a built in 250yards launch button as standard they cannot justify that money!!
Buy a chrome rocket, get a mag unit and hey presto a shiny casting reel!! 150 eur tops!!
Larry Gormleys custom reels are every bit as good and less than half the price!!

Re: TG rocket F1 reel
got reel today. i loaded it with line, its very fast but not as fast as a full blown casting reel. if the lads from sportcast ireland had 5 minutes with it; it would be
the reel sits very low on the rod witch suit my small hands, after opening the reel and having a look at the gears this reel will only be used for clean ground. the drag is very smooth and sensitive will be great crack with the hounds. on first impresions its like the 6500 but has more to offer. i will get out fishing with it the weekend see how it handles on the beach. was it worth the money? only time will tell.
