lads can any of you tell me weather the samilite hl 100 f headlamp is any good??or anyone have any good or bad points about it???cheers john

Just had a look at the Samalite HL100F13, It looks to be a bit heavy even though the battery is carried on a Belt. Also for the price £195.00 you should also look at the Petzl Ultra Accu 2.
I treated myself to one at X-Mass and it is a fantastic piece of kit but a bit pricy. However if you are going to spend in the region of £200 it is worth considering for the extra. It is only 345g worn with recharge battery on your head or you can also buy a Belt attachment and also get a larger batter Accu 4 for extended life. There are three light settings, 350 Lumens at Max which gives 120m of light! - its like turning on a light at home.

brilliant lamp mate got a last year cant fault it lights up the beach a treat the battery is not heavy at all wouldin even know your wearin it
