What happens if the battery runs out? Might be fun for chasing gobys around the rock pools while your waiting for a bite.

I could almost bet €1000 that no one can ever cast whole mackerel flapper with 500g sinker as far as it may be transported with this thing ;)

@Tony, great link, thanks for sharing - please post the price here if you will get a reply.

I feel a bet coming on  if you can cast a mackerel fillet and a 6oz lead over 150 meters on the next meet you will be 20 euro richer?

with this you could get a big mackerel flapper out more scent, out further, it would work a charm

I know where coming from and know they can be caught close to shore,,but would you not think this yoke would not double your chances in hooking up? would you pay half the price on one if someone was buying one?

Picked up some of these in SA (Breezers Fishing Tackle) , tried it out in Kilcoole one stormy day and they work ;) (Well I caught FA but got a big bait out there).

Richard who works there is sound and I reckon ye could buzz him and he would post goods.

He spent some time working and fishing here but was pi**ed off with the lack of Circle Hooks here at the time and the M50 back then :)

P.S There is a video on You Tube about making your own also ;)

What's the point of those sliders in the video. Is it so you can cast an unbaited trace further and slide the bait down the line then. :?:

Exactly evan, a 7 or 8 oz gripper , a pendulum cast , bang it out then slide down a full mackeral (or a live bait). When i was talking to him he said that some of the lads even slide down live gummy sharks as bait :( . Though as some of the lads have pointed out , sometimes the tope are right under your nose. Just thought that i would do the post for occasions when a big bait is needed at distance..
