Ultima the line people have added a casting section to their site, and anyone who uses their line already knows how good it is, fishing or casting!

Very good web site.

Anyone know a Irish retailer for the full range. I would like to get some light powersteel and 0.25 distance plus 0.75

Any thoughts?

yes would be nice to try all the diameters in the ultima distance , i believe they are closer to the mark than the other 2 brands we use at the moment :!:

I have mailed Ultima directly asking on how best to get the lines we use for casting, so will keep everyone updated here.
Recently switched all my casting reels to Ultima distance and am well impressed with it's quality, none better in my opinion.

Every yard helps! :D

i got two spools of .35 ultima distance at the swords show and will try it this weekend 8)

0.25 is very hard to get is hi viz... I think Sakuma do a 0.26, but I can't recall. It would be nice if one of the Irish shops stocked the range.

Best line ever, started using it about 3yrs ago and have yet to fault it, top marks ultima

They will get you with their evil smile, evrybodys got Viking on speed dial, oh i just want to be a big casting star with 25 Zzippys and Crako on my avatar, the yards dont come easy and the reels arnt cheap. just watch you dont crack off and hit dbrocks jeep :mrgreen:

Dan has a large Sortiment of these lines. Great homepage with
