Daiwa Tournament line

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Daiwa Tournament line

#1 Post by masterkeane »

Just wondering if any one has used this line and wat ur toughts and ratings are ? Im in between two different lines at the moment and im open to suggestions .... I use the varivas sport in 15lbs ... and suffix tritanium in 15 and 18 lbs and they are a good line in my opinion but just always been curious of the daiwa tournament .

I use the suffex tritanium and the daiwa tournament line.
Really fond of both! Find the yellow colour of the daiwa line a big advantage during the night, never had any problems with it.
Use the tritanium a lot too, again very fod of it and its a good price too!

John I think it's a great line. It casts very well off a multi and is fairly strong stuff. Pity about the funky colour!

Haven't used anything else to compare it to but I've been using it for about 15 years and never let me down, great for casting, good visibility and I've landed Tope over 60lb on 20lb test from the boat.
