kilmore quay?

can you fish off the rocks off the back of kilmore pier on both sides and if you can what bait to use and what species can you catch.any help would be greatly appreciated.cheers :)

ye you can the best bait i find is fresh lug and mackril speices are coilies dabs and the od small bass

You can fish from both walls, the west wal,l fish down the end off the back of the arm that goes out to the right, this should produce dogs, pollack, coalie, fish tend to be small and not that plentiful, good chance of decent conger at night right in close by the tetrapods, try float fishing rag for wrasse in close also, ground can be weedy and snaggy, also outflow at back just up from harbour masters office attracts alot of mullet, the newer east wall fishes best at full water at night, nothing too hectic coalies maybe and pollack and a small chance of a decent bass. Lug and mack best baits.

Hi,
On the rocks over to the right of the pier I saw people spinnin for bass there in July
