Tomorrow - Saturday 13th East Caost

#1 Post by adrwdarcy »

Hi all

I was thinking of heading out tomorrow greystones or somewhere like that. Has anyone any suggestions of somewhere to fish as I really want to catch something after blanking in North Beach Greystones last Sunday?

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andrew,

Give Toberpatrick a bash, plenty of flounders on it at the minute falling to lug.

Hi Alby

Thanks for the info. Where is Toberpatrick? Is it between Greystones & Newcastle?

Thanks

Toberpatrick is between arklow and clones on the wicklow / wexford border.

Thanks for the reply Bigsod. I think I'll stay around Greystones. It's an early enough start looking at the tide times tomorrow.

I have fished many east coast marks, some more productive than others. Greystones however has after 4 sessions produced for me the grand total of one micro whiting an one small rockling. As such I now really dislike it as a venue. maybe that's just me though. Good luck.

As Alby said plenty of flounder around ,If your not planning to trek so far as Toberpatrick ,And your fishing daylight hours then maybe hit south beach greystones, close to the fresh water outflow(brackish water)with some bling bling flattie rigs ie beads, attractors, spoons etc etc with some big juicy fresh lug,And if you have another blank to report i would be very surprised   good luck
