Kilkeel for a few days

#1 Post by dukum »

HI All,

I am taking a group of young disabled lads on a residential to Kilkeel next week, during which they said they would like to try some fishing. I am buying 5 spinning rods (thanks to angling supplies in Larne who offered me a great deal) and was wondering if anyone knows any shore/pier marks in the area? I was thinking of Kilkeel harbour - as it is accessible, but any ideas would be appreciated. I usually fish the Antrim coast so am ignorant of the South Down area. Thanks in advance.

He hasn't really got much access to the Internet during the week now due to being away with work but should reply at the weekend, not sure he's been to Kilkeel fishing much though.

Thanks again. Probably plenty of marks - off the rocks at annalong, beachcasting off newcastle (never tried that!). Trouble is some of the lads are in wheelchairs, which prohibits trial an error. Hopefully K2 will come up with something.

Again thanks.
