Change of venue Tralee Bay SAC
Hi lads for any one interested there is a change of venue for this coming Sunday the 14th. The competition is OPEN to all i.f.s.a card holders and will now be fished at Ballybunion strand! Check in will be in the lower carpark of the Ballybunion Golf course at between 1230 and 1315! The competition will be between 1400 - 1800! Access is via the golf course so existing paths should be used and all care taken not to disrupt the on going golf! This is mostly a flounder and bass type venue with clean ground though the tide can be strong so some grips should be brought along. Occasionally the beach is swarmed with mullet and turbot to 1lb are not uncommon! Lugworm seems to be the bait of choice by the locals! Beware the chance of a specimen Bass so caution is urged when taking the flounder walk! Hope to see ye there!
