has anyone used the artificial rag when fishing from shore/beach/pier
and if so has anyone had any success

Lads,

I don't believe it, headed to the rocks for some wrasse and pollack last Saturday. Broke my back turning stones for an hour before hand trying to find enough small hardbacks for the wrasse.

My buddy pulls out those new Berkley Gulp rubber crab thingys and I started laughing! We both had float setups for the wrasse, him with his plastic laughable bait and me with fresh hardbacks which were always what we used up to now.

Would you believe it he outfished me with these things landing wrasse to 4lbs 3oz and Pollack to 5lbs. I couldn't believe it, so, some more trial sessions needed before I write these things off from the shore I reckon...
