Report:
Five members arrived at Glenarm to a crystal clear flat sea and in hindsight I would have brought the fly rod instead. Because of this I did not expect anything to be landed until after dark and unfortunately I was correct. About an hour after the sun had set the rods slowly started to rattle but so did our teeth as the temperature dropped to around -5. We had around 1½hrs of steady fishing up to high water but more undersize fish were landed than counting fish. Once it hit high water the fish moved offshore leaving us to scratch for the few bits that were left. Still it was a good clear night and nice to see some, though small, early Plaice.
