Petzl Tikka Xp

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Hi Gearoid
I have the Tikka plus which I am guessing is the older version of the one you bought. I started off with this and its is fine, however upgraded last year to a more heavy duty version the Petzl Ultra, 350 Lumens at max setting (it's pricy thought) with rechargable battery. I use the Tikka as a backup now.
The Ultra is a serious piece of Kit 120m illumination on Max.
Battery Life:
+2 hrs on Max
+5 hrs on Optimium
+16 hrs on Economy
