There wasnt really a main bait to be honest you were not aloud maddies the last time so it was lug and mack and rag and mack for the flats... And sandeel and mack done for the dogs nothn special like.

Re: interpros 2010 (u16 and u21)
This section is called young rods so please keep the gibberish to your “bebo” and “facebook” pages.
These anglers are our future International, trying to mess things around is not helpful,
If you have got nothing positive to contribute to this topic then please stay away.
If you got something positive to say then please do so the “young rods“ look up to a lot of posters for their help,
Gibberish posts do nothing for the poster these anglers will not take long to work out who is a plonker and who is a helpful poster.
I’m going to delete posts without an explanation I’ll let the poster work it out for themselves.

Re: interpros 2010 (u16 and u21)
being honest rory the fishing was pretty hard, there wasnt a standout bait like warren said, lug tipped with mac, the good oul reliable took 4 flounder for me that weekend with sandeel accounting for my only dog. 5 fish in 12 hours was pretty slow going. then again ive fished 3 interpro's and my overall bag has been 5 counting fish every time
not sure if that a good thing
i would definitley bring fresh lug, mack and sandeel. mack works really well this side of the country, the flats really love it.
wouldn't bother with crab. maddies could be effective if we fish lettergesh. after that i'd bring maybe a few razors and other shellfish baits if all else is failling. but i suspect the fishing will be disasterous as always, the weather is bound to wreck proccedings.
heres the report from last time, scroll down the page a bit
http://www.ifsaleinster.com/old/junior% ... 02006.html
judging by a few reports on the site a few rays are moving around galway s hopefully my late march they'l show their smilly faces. i'd say the venues will be a toss up between lettergesh, renvyle, gurteen and glassiluan. maybe dogs bay if the weather picks up.

i know we're fishing on opposing teams, but lets all get together, form a circle, hold hands and say an oul hail mary or two. never know the gods might smile on us for once. i can see it now, a gentle swell on lettergesh, treble flounder and turbots, all in size. flat calm for gurteen doubles and treble of huss and dogs, garfish and scad on pop ups. renvyle will be stuffed full of coalies, rockling and dogs
