WHATS THE SEASON ?

Hello folks just asking if any of ye know the seasons for when fish arrive and depart , i`m always out fishing but have`nt a clue what to target as i dont really know whats about each month . i searched through the site and found a link on fishing seasons but could`nt get the info needed . i`m fishing in inishowen so far i`ve caught pollock , mackeral , flounders , thornback , coalies , dogfish , plaice , sea trout , any info on these guys and bass seasons would be great lads , thanks for looking anyhow , mick .

A lot of it is due to the crab moult which only happens when the water temp is about 10 degrees, when the crabs moult the likes of bass and smoothoung start to show, also species like pollock, dogs etc come back when the water temp rises.
