SUNDAY
Nice day so decided to head down to the beach with the cousins not great fishing at al to be had but we had an unusual guest A SPRAT we thought that the sprats could hav been coming down a hit with the fishys but kids got disgrutled so homeward was our destination
FRIDAY
Headed off nicely to our favourite mark for a bit of fishing and it was great alll fish in around the 2 pound mark with some later on heading up to 3 Not as plentiful as other occasions but some nice 1s for the pan

some lovely fish there jnr dont suppose you cast the sprat back out
would love some of them up here in bettystown, both the codling and the sprat that is , infact would even settle for the sprat. had 5 sessions so far this year, all blanks. you guys dont know how lucky you are down south

Thought they were the same anyways small enough to feed on if the big lads were around We were getting lots of sharp bites but nothing on them so i'd say there were a few others messing with our bait Thanks

Ah no the cod are getting bigger and ye know theres ones that we are throwing back at the min that would have been keepers a few months back the cod fishing has got better hopefully for a good while to come
