took the day out to look for some new mark in conamara.. left the house at 11am.. drove all over looking down little roads and so on.. got my first bait into the sea at 4.30pm. new mark.. result.. blank.. moved to another and results.. five min after the bait hit the water thorneback on.. great. two rods out but had to put one away cause the two rods where going together with bites and hook ups.. finished on that mark with 6 ray and 1 lsd.. some bait left over so hit a local pier on the way home from 9pm to 10.25.. results codling and whitting nothing great about the sizes.. ray on second mark where good size... home now with a nice mug of coffee.....

Re: conamara tour
That's some very nice fishing. glad to hear the hunt for a new mark payed off very nicely. If i knew of a mark that fished that well i'd quit the job, dump the missus and set up camp on the beach. Fish for food and enjoyment, no need for anything else.
I'm adding that to my wish list.
