People:me and the aul boy

Duration:6 hours

Tide:tide filling from low up

Weather:moderte n/e

Bait:rag lug squid and mackreal

Rigs:two hook pats clipped down/spinner

Results:seatrout ,mackreal,on spinner and dabs ,flounder and a 4lb coalie on beachcasters


Report:all fish came on first 3hours of flood

yeah it was a crackin coalie,not a bad days fishing,awee bit stop and start but the coalie and the bonus seatrout made it a memorable day.

if it cant get its jaws round a 1/0 its not worth catching [ mullet excluded ]

if its rough the next time you fish it try lug and peeler, you stand a chance of decent cod off here.

where do you try round here for the cod???

tried of the rocks to the right over the summer for 4 hrs with rag mack squid and peeler, not even a bite lol!!! seems very clean and featureless

yeah, the rocks over at the right with the blow hole, it is a clean bottom but when its rough it puts quite a few coalies and codling on it from this time of year on.if you look in the shore marks section you can find a picture of ronald with the kind of cod that can be caught here! you wont get them that size all the time though!!!!
