yes im affraid to say bangor is a tackle grave yard, but its worth it as it can produce some very good fish.i tend to buy weights in bulk that way you get more for your money or use spark plugs etc.everything i use for rough ground fishing is cheap and simple, apart from my rods and reels. :)

Where do you guys fish at Bangor. Is it best inside or outside or what. Close to breakwaters or at distance. Don't know the area at all.

we tend to just throw a bait on top of the most weedy and rocky spot we can find.its sandy at about 20 yards or less, i never fish on the clean ground but i would imagine you would get dogs and whiting and not much else.if you want fish from bangor be prepared to lose gear.D`dee is probably easier fishing but you should talk to K2 cos he`s the D`dee expert!
