low water marks around Dublin/Wicklow

#1 Post by finding nemo »

Most of our fishing is in daylight so when the tide is low we are stumped on where to go.
Anyone recommend any spots to try out and baits used?

Cheers.

the rocks just past the tea rooms in killiney fishes best at low water for resident red cod from mid summer to november, ive caught fish to 6lb here all at low water using fresh peeler crab. You have to be able cast about a hundred yards to get to a fishing depth but i have had consistent success using these tactics at this time of year. Ps bass are also possible at any state of tide here in and monster wrasse(5lb+) feed in theses reefs at high water in summer and autumn(its foul ground)
