21-2-2010 Not so secret mark North beach Greystones

People:
Myself ,The Coyser and paddy
Duration:
6.00 til 11pm
Tide:
Droppin LW at 10ish
Weather:
Mild NE and very very cold
Bait:
Lug,crab,mussel mack razor etc Etc
Rigs:
2 and 3 hookers and pulley pennels


Results:
Me ,2 Whiting 31cms :D and 12cms :roll: ,1 3beardie and 1 solitary doggie :o
Coyser,Whiting tiddler
Paddy,small codling


Report:
Met up and got set up for about 6ish,we all fished 2 rods ,1 in close about 20(coyser 100) odd yds and 1 out about 40(coyser 200) odd yds.Nice to get out havent fished in a while,the fishing wasnt great but thats life,Got a few bites and caught a few fish.We were wrapped up well but it was really cold and theres nothing worse than when the fish arent switched on you just seem to get colder.Ah well till the next session ROLL ON THE SUMMER 8) because the coyser wants to catch some fish. :lol: Will post pics in a while.

If you cast 50yds from the waters edge and then walk back 150 yds to your tripod would this be accepted as a 200 yd cast bigsod :lol: on a serious note the man can cast especially in daylight no doubt about it ,we,ll have to get him a much smaller spool for his reel :!:

Bigsod god u are right :roll: Cod has been absolutely terrible the last week or so Not even tiddlers are we getin :cry: :(

True - when there is plenty of activity you get warmed up, but the heat seaps out of you when just standing around.

you did ok considering the tide you fished it sems to liven up a few hours into the rise 8)

I hear ya rodge and agree we usually fish the rising tide on the north beach ,but sometimes its a pain when your trying to find a convienient day or time for some people :roll:unfortunately you just have to go with the FLOW :lol:

True that Al ,you take the good sessions with the bad,Hitting north Wex the weekend with the missus ,and will get a few hrs in fishing with a bit of luck and might even have a CAUSEWAY report like yourselves recently :D
