Report: reports is, well the fishing was pretty bad. ballymoney was pretty crap, manged one micro coalie, grody had a fine 32cm flounder though. decided to move off to toberpatrick to see if we could get a flounder or 2. pretty crap here to, managed 4 flats and a coalie on a bright note i had a few wangs of an m4 evo and a highflex. after two very timid casts i decdied with a slipped disc i probably should, stop so i did moral of the story dont go fishing in febuary

i think it's the same all over eric,,, micro rounds and t-bag flats but you did at least get a few fish during daylight hours something i have'nt done in about 6 weeks. daylight fishing is a no,no up here at the moment roll on summer

Hard going this morning think i had 4 flounder, 1 whiting and 3 coalies . Was worth the effort in getting out early just to see the pink rod in the flesh, it has to be seen to be believed

well ya didn miss anything later eric we didn get down till five and stayed till half seven for one flounder

it is bad alright... thinks it's given me the blues we fished ballymoney today and it was slow. lads came down later and had a good few coalies and codling but we were bored. headed to arklow for a little while and found out where the pin whiting have been hiding i'm sick of wearing termals, fleeces, jackets... and washing multiple pairs of socks why wont my mother do it for me? she does it for my dad and she dosen't even like him

Fished ballymoney nth from around 5.15 to 9pm, 1st few casts in daylight nothing, but as darkness fell the fish came on the feed. Had 20 fish in total, just 2 small codling at distance all night but had 18 fish in close, 1 rockling, many codling/coalies and 2 flounder. Biggest fish was a miserly 27cm fluke but atleast it pipped brians 25cm codling so I won a fiver and I was kept warm catching a few.

Only my 2nd time out this year so its good to blow the cobwebs off with a few fish.

Oh............not a pin whiting in sight by the way
