sadly no man,,, just back to our regular haunt

and just to think that a month ago i'd have been well happy with a 30cm rockling

those other 2 marks have spoilt us

. That place sems to be very hit or miss at the minute. On a good day it is great and on a bad day it is terrible.
thanks man. like you said, that place either fishes really well or not at all

. and the blanks are gonna be coming soon enough

. i went 8 sessions over 3 weeks last march before i caught a single fish

and that month is almost upon us again

all ye need now is a few SeaTrout

ROAD TRIP!!!! i'm gonna give that beach a go next monday with doggie

gotta get one this time
roger de dodger wrote:well done on a few fish, that picture of the sea scorpion is a cracker ,i thought the codling i,m getting are small ,looks like i,m doin ok

sadly that has become the norm for that mark lately

all the bigger cod (1lb+ fish

) seem to be on up the antrim coast. donaghadee has become so slow lately we were just glad not to blank at it

loads of nibbles from 3 inch pouting, poor cod, whiting and coalies. but they could'nt get their chops round a size 4 hook and we refused to drop to a lower size as you'd be into mini species tactics

never worry noel, we'll get 1 on monday
are you needing anything else brought over other than that rod and a pound of rag?
