wexford beach,thurs 18 feb

People:me, ken and dave

Duration:8 til 4.30

Tide:lw to 2 hours flood

Weather:bitter cold wind but sunny

Bait:lug, crab, squid, herring

Rigs:2 and 3 hookflappers and clipped

Results:umpteen codling, dabs and flounder



,
Report:headed to the beach early to try for a few codling, was lw when we arrived straight into doubles and trebles of codling with the odd dab and flounder as well, this was to continue for the duration of the session,gave up counting after 60 codling, the odd nice codling mixed in with the best at just under 2lbs, we kept a few of the bigger ones for dinner, all in all was a mighty session, lots of fish ,good craic and banter just the tonic after been unable to fish for almost a year, nice to see the codling about in numbers :D :D

:shock: :shock: :shock: that's some ammount of fish for a session man 8) 8) 8) and a few keepers thrown in for good measure is always a great bonus :D :D :D well done!

lovely fishing,i think you deserve that session after not being able to fish for a year :shock: :shock: think i'd shoot myself!!

Nice goings lads some nice fish there,and that's your first session in a year :shock: I think i will take a sabbatical and come back next year.

im finding frozen bait great at the min ask adam 2040

wont get back to the club for a while yet pete, only reason im doin a bit of fishin is i got an epidural a few weeks back and im makin the most of it while it lasts, had a bone scan last week so hopefully find out whats wrong and get fixed up for good

Frozen is doing the trick at the moment, although i had never seen frozen bait moving and breathing before, you must show me how to get them so life like :lol:
