Results:codling,whiting , rockling,dabs,flounder and a squid
Report:nothing out of the blue besides an organic printer refill plenty of fish with doubles and trebles for everyone shane managed one half decent codling over 35 cm got the squid after the lads left he wasnt happy and kept changing colour left him back to rob someone else of their bait
casting : threw down the guantlet to the raiders to see if they could cast a mans rod after several casts with 6 oz of lead i noticed shane and tony raiding my lead bucket for another 6oz of lead they gave up casting 12 oz because their fingers hurt too much so my 16 foot rubarb rod lives to wang another day

God i headed with the father a bit further back from Fishfaces "secret mark" last night and for 2 hours only 2 codling and 1 flatfish. Was absolutely dreadful fishing and we thought we were in for great fishing because although there was a chill there was no wind but still a mighty surf
left in time as wel stream was rising fast full of water anyway it isnt a good signfor the open comp on Saturday

well done there, those pseky squid been turnin up alot on the coast at mo, keep seeing them washed up on velvet strand, fresh, just on that risen tide......

nice mixed bag there lads . jeese,, that cod in the last pic has some size head to it almost looks disproportionate to it's wee body no wonder they get refered to as "bucket mouths"

im too old for that carry on i would like me back to last a few more years
