beara peninsula

hello to all, we will be fishing the beara peninsula second week of june ,any info on marks will be great. we will be shore fishing and trying for rays,huss ,conger wrasse and anything else thats around, bait we can bring would be ragworm, crab.sandeel and launce plus artificials.
we will be staying in the glengarriff area.

Did you get any info on fishing the beara. I'm planning a trip during the summer aswell and i'm on the hunt for info like yourself. If ya hear of a few good marks drop me a pm and i'll send you any info i can gather.
Species 2014: whiting, coalie, pouting, codling, pollack, ballan wrasse, dab, poor cod, mackerel, grey gurnard, conger, ling, cuckoo wrasse, launce, common skate, bass, scad, garfish, blue shark

Species 2015: Ballan wrasse, poor cod, pollack, ling, flounder, turbot, mackerel, whiting, lsd, dab, grey gurnard, pouting, cuckoo wrasse, cod

good morning evan 699, only info i have is from the central fisheries board and from paul harris at dromagowlane house, we will be over week starting 19th june ,if i dont hear more we will let you know how we get on.

Paul Harris on the site here could probably help you out there, he has a B&B there, and has baits and such, sure he could guide you too...

2012 species: Thornback, bull huss, Dogfish, pollack, Mackerel, bass, flounder, turbot, conger,

Paul is your man he has bait and tackle .and plenty of info on venues and marks .Allen Yates and some friends did a stay their and it is in sea angler .but contact Paul for info on venues and accommodation
