Wicklow Boat Hire
Self Drive Angling Boats for Hire
Wicklow Harbour, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

Based in Wicklow Harbour, 30 minutes by car south of Dublin, Wicklow Boat Hire provides a fleet of fully insured self drive 16 foot Orkney Longliners or similar, for sea angling and pleasure trips.

Insured to a cruise range of three miles from Wicklow Harbour, each vessel is fully equipped to include buoyancy aids (per person), folding anchor and thirty metres of rope, rescue throw line, lifebuoy, first aid kit, inshore flare kit, rowlocks and oars, bilge pump, and fire extinguisher.

For added safety Wicklow Boat Hire have on stand by at all times there very own safety rib.

Sea anglers can expect to target large Tope, Smooth Hound, Bull Huss, Ray, Bass, Plaice, Dab, Codling, Pollack, Whiting, and Mackerel.

Boat hire rates for 2010 season, to include a full tank of fuel, start at €30.00 per hour. Per Half Day (4 Hours) €100.00. Per Whole Day (8 Hours) €200.00.

Tackle hire to cover a range of angling opportunities from Mackerel to Tope fishing can be organised through Dogs, Rods, and Guns (Tackle Shop), Riverview House, Quarantine Hill, Wicklow Town, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, Tel: 00353 (0)404 25558 and ask for Paul or Michael.

thats a great service .for a day out. and reasonably priced 4 lads@ 50euro for the day id say theyl be kept busy

Wouldn't fancy fishing four lads with gear on a 16' open boat but what the ? maybe I am just getting old. :D :D

youve been spoiled :mrgreen: we used to go out off of colimore and the orkneys held 4 fishermen no prob just dont all stand up together :lol:

seems a bit expensive when i can hire a boat out of bulloch for 20 euro,same sized boats too. however il almost garantee il be trying it out, that part of the world has some nice animal fishing. now if we could get a similar set up with warriors in cahore that would be sweet :)

it's only 25 euro an hour over a longer period much better equipped boats by the sounds of it, and you might not have someone shouting and roaring at you if you make a wrong move :wink: :lol: :lol:.
start saving and tow your own boat to cahore nothing like coming in whenever you like 8)
after a long days animal fishing, oh roll on the summer
