Thats a fine conger. Well done al. I'm gonna have to hit a few rock marks soon for shot at the eels. Gettin well sick of codling and whiting down here. Wouldn't mind somethin with a bit of a spirited fight. I'd keep that mark under the hat if i was you anyway. Well done.

thanks drew and FK
will do roger
gotta get me and the wee man one this year
roll on summer
thanks man. we'll be able to see how many times we can catch the same fish up there now
he's pretty distinctive
. yeah, i was just glad dan and ronald were on hand to help me out with him
. only problem is finding the time to get round them all now
best £15 i ever spent
. you'd be shocked at just how much blanking we do in between finding productive marks
i just don't report those ones

cheers don. the fishing was'nt great to start with, but the move to the other mark saved the dayfishermannum1 wrote:great report al and magic reading![]()

thanks man. all the rockling we get at our other marks hardly ever break the 30cm mark. but that one spot seems to hold a good stock of adult 3 beardysscrob wrote:Nice rockling, I didn't know they could get to that size, I have a mark in Donegal I catch them at but never anything of much size.
As for the conger, I think I'd cack meself if I had to haul that thing out of the water!
cheers man. that p.b. has been 4 years in the makingbhoy32 wrote:nice haul of fish lads well done. cracking eel
cheers conger. he was alright about it seeing as he still has the bragging rites to having landed the only specimen 3 beardy at that spot so farConger wrote:Well done lads, great report Al, cracking conger, i'd say he gave you some scrap, and as Ronald said everything rounded off with a good sandwich![]()
what a session. I say Jordan was like a bull that he wasn't on that session.

Well done on the rockling and conger and a great report.![]()
thanks eric. that mark is only about 5ft deep at low water and mabey 15ft at high. but it's because of the thick kelp and boulders on the breakwater there that you get those fish there. but like i said, if you're ever up this way just give me a shout and i'll take you's up to iteric wrote:most impressive, just wondering what kinda of depth and ground are you fishing into. cant seem to find a conger off our realiable marks down here as well as the fact ive never caught a bonified 3 beards.
