thanks man. i boiled him up for 15 mins, cut him in half up the middle and stuck him under the grill for 5 mins with a spread of garlic butter. he was well tasty, and even better jordan tried it and was'nt keen on it so i got to munch him all to myself

Jordan that is one stonking fish Im sure you are over the moon. I bet Dad is as jealous as I am but so happy you got what you headed out for. The reasearch obviously paid off. I am going to have to get out sometime soon for a session with you and maybe you can share some of that good fishing(Jordan that is!!).

I haven't been out as much as I would have liked over the past few months however, your reports have provided some consolation and I have kept up to date with your adventures. Keep up the good work - its better than some of the stuff in Sea Angler without the need to pay

thanks jay. i've just gotten used to being upstaged by junior these days . but the wee man has to miss all the mid week sessions as he has school each morning. so it's only fair he gets something decent at the weekends . and besides, you could'nt put a price on the pride i feel when his wee face lights up with every decent catch he gets . our fishing trips have given us both memories you could never put a price on

thanks don, we aim to please i'm just made up for him getting the rockling. i'll have to start bringing out the camcorder for the conger fishing. it's funny as heck watching a 10 year old doing battle with a big eel ,,,,, all sorts of puffing and panting going on and loads of phrases such as "come on ya boy ye" getting banded about pure comedy gold

ahh thanks very much man . the australian suicide rig is best described as a 3 hook pennel rig from a 3 way swivel where the snood length is twice as long as the rotten bottom to the lead, keeps the bait tight on the bottom
