People:Myself and the brother

Duration:830pm to 1 am

Tide:rising

Weather:no breeze and no freeze

Bait:mack ang sandeel , lug

Rigs:2 , 3 hook flappers size 2 hooks

Results:myself 3 FLOUNDER 1 coalie , the bro got 2 flounder




Report: Fished the local beach again last night , few bites early on but no fish , after an hour started to catch a few . no flounders over half a pound , lovely night out so we enjoyed not being froze to the seats .

Another nice session, and good to see the flounder about - dying to get a crack at them myself

what bait was working best for you?

best bait that night was strip of mackeral lad . the night before though best was sandeel, seems to be enough of them about up this way any , good luck.

stragill is away past that lad , handier to drive to it , drive towards dunree and about two mile outside buncrana you`ll see sign post on your left stragill strand , take that turn off and tht`ill take ya there , neds point is down milatary road , on past that is porthaw beach a bit more steeper than stragill havent tryed that beach yet , past that is father hegartys rock , then on past that is stragill beach .
