greystones north 27-1-10

People:me and shaneh

Duration:7 till 11

Tide:full and dropping

Weather:flat calm

Bait:lug, squid, crab, razor

Rigs:pullys and flapps

Results:dab 1, codling 10, and coalies 4




Report:just a few hours to use up some leftover bait ,fishing was slowish with coalies mid range and codling at distance,some racket going on down the harbour you could nearly feel the beach shake every time they dropped boulders :shock: :shock: all quiet by 10 pm thank god :roll:

Whiting don't seem to be about as much this year. Last year you could have had a bag full from Greystones in no time. Must be all the small codling eating all the smaller whiting.

Well done lads good to see a positive result, reports have been a bit slack from the North beach of late,Have they done any repairs with the walkway(mudslide) down to the beach.Met a lady walking her dog on my way down to the beach bout 2 weeks ago who had lost a shoe in the mud a local who wasnt one bit impressed ,the ground just swallowed her leg according to the poor lady :lol: Just might hit there myself tomorrow evening for a bit of sea air. 8)

Well done Roger, its nice to see a fellow angler keeping those photos standards up :lol: .I especially like the rock/seaweed arrangement in the bottom pic :wink:

The rod bag is fine but I dont see any logos/adverts etc, youre missing out on an opportunity for advertising/sponsorship :roll: :roll: ,,,,,,,,,,,,ps congrats on getting the Ian Golds sponsorship :wink:
