Sad News ... Courtown Sea-Angling centre.

Its with great sadness that I have been told of the sudden death of Mick Redmond
of Courtown Sea-Angling centre.

Condolences to his family and friends.


The shop will be closed until next wensday 27th January.

this is really sad news and a complete shock :cry: he was a top bloke and a top skipper. R.I.P and sincerest condolences to his family

This is a terrible shock. Mick was a great guy and always had time for some banter. RIP and condolences to his family.

i got a phone call earlier on but was not sure of what happened . mick was a good hardworking skipper done a lot for the angling in the courtown and surrounding area always helpfull day or night and will be sadly missed by everyone my thoughts are with his family and friends

that is dreadful news i have known mick a number of years and he was a gent always had a good story to tell when i went in. my condolances to his family and friends and will always be in my thoughts when i go fishing may he rest in peace

holy __ s*** i cant beleive that :shock: was in the shop for a few hours today with him and joe great crak and banter as always i am in total shock he will be missed something terrible R.I.P mate :cry: my thoughts and prayers are with his family

RIP Mick, totally shocked. Always very helpful and always gave my young lad a little present when we were down. Will be missed.

he will be missed by many through the fishing community.
and from the stories I have heard from when he was in the merchant navy, he will be surely missed...
