Flounder fishing spots

Does anyone know where you could go in North Donegal or around the North coast at this time of year for a days flounder fishing any ideas.

give waterfoot beach a try down beside the river or the pier if ya want to fish from the car...........
some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?

Alot of the beaches around the north coast will produce flounder, but make sure your trying from them in daylight as they are mostly sight feeders :)

mullaghmore beach in sligo is quiet good,and you will get flounder at night too,no problems,they do hunt by sight, but by scent and movement too!! we get them regular on beaches at night.

species 2011 (20) flounder,whiting,poor cod,5 beard rockling,lsd.coalie,thornie,three bearded rockling,shore rockling.seatrout.turbot,plaice,brill,pollock,ballen wrasse.huss,pout,cookoo wrasse,corking wrasse,dab.
