People: Me and GHRE
Duration: 19.00 - 00.30
Tide: Full tide roughly 10pm
Weather: Clear Sky, moderate southerly.
Bait: Mackeral
Rigs: 1 up 1 down, hooks size 3/0 top and 1 bottom
Results: Loads of small codling, whiting and 1 dab
Report: We started the nights fishing on Waterfoot Pier. Every cast we were getting constant rattles on the rod tips each time producing whiting or codling the biggest being 14cm lol. Some casts we never even got the rod onto the rod rest before the bites appeared. We fished the pier until about 11pm until the wind became too uncomfortable to fish as it was head on. We moved down to Glenarm beach which was a bit more sheltered. Again just small codling and whiting caught although not in the same numbers as Waterfoot.

The biggest codling was 14cm. All were taking the bottom size 1 hook. The whiting were like something you would put in your goldfish bowl
