People:me+gitsea m

Duration:9pm-3.30am

Tide:hw 12ish

Weather:good

Bait:lug crab,mack

Rigs:2 hook

Results:gitsea m 2 codling,2 flounder me 1 cod




Report:arrived about 8.40 and headed for the left of the stream only to find lots of other anglers along the streach so we headed to the other side of the stream and got tents set up and then rods went out for about 9ish fishing was very slow with us geting noting but weed for the first few hours then gitsea got a small coadling near hw and then a flounder soon after things went slack again for about another hour then gitsea got a double of coadling and flounder that was it for him at about 2am we went to the car to get a couple of beers and i when i came back to my rod it was a lot lower in the rest and the line was heading all the way right towards the rocks so i picked it up and took the strain and felt a heavy weight on the end did not think any thing of it just tought another load of weed but after a few turns of the reel the rod doubled fish on happys days after a few mins i got it to the shore only to see a big cod come on to the beach .my heart was raceing so i droped my rod and ran and grabed it i then got the scales to weigh it.. it came in at 9.2lb my biggest cod ever gitsea m has the photo he will post it up

playing the devil's advocate here and hopefully there is a perfecty reasonable explanation to my observations. to me the image looks like a picture of an old photograph, look at the top right and left hand corner. there also specs of white on the image which you get with an old photo. ?? irrespective of when it was caught its a savage fish :?
