At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!
I have a K2 Team extreme 16'8 , and a blue metal extreme which is 15' (I think)
Your welcome to have a chuck with them at the next meet, see what you think yourself
of course i will! even the rod bag is great! there are a quite few situations that i am sure it will supercede my standard beachcasters on when put to the test. i can't wait!!! might pull a sicky tomorrow!!!
k2, only three days and your addicted already, i bet mark is out getting his fix now and will soon be addicted himself. it took me afew sessions to get used to using such a long rod but now it's usually the first rod in my bag.
i got my for use with different fishing methods. any rig over 9' is very awkward with a standard beachcaster. also the softer models go easier on baits. less bait stress when seeking a little extra distance. lobbing maddies and the like is made much easier.
a slow, gentle swing works well with the K2 and it's better than a standard overhead. shakespeares LDC is a long rod designed for powercasting
