Fine fish Conor, well worth the trip out - and an excellent advert for Irish winter shore angling :D

Dont worry Chris, put in the hours like Conor and you'll get your reward soon enough.
That's a super Bass....it looks bigger than 7lbs.
It's all down to how you hold it Pat, Conor has that fine art down to a tee, mind you he's had plenty of practise :wink:

Thanks Don was chuffed with it when we arrived and saw the surf i knew we'd be in with a good chance poxed to get it on the first cast though :)

Cheers Pat... it was big around the head and shoulders alright but was thin enough along the flanks i'd say it was a bigger fish when it had more condition on it

Im with Corby, I hate that beach aswell, there was a 12lber from there a few weeks ago.
Cracking fish, well done Connor for taking anything in Daylight. It doesnt fish at all if there is no surf, and its generally best each side of low, Joe had a few good sea trout there this time last year.
