fished droping tide d/more 3 of us ,nice surf running. bait lug results lots of codling to 36 cm
dabs to 27 cm ,flounder to 30 cm few whiting and some rockling
fishing was steady all night and was even staritng to pick up towards the last of the drop
well worth the trip

S/wexford
tide high 5 pm
fishing from 4 to 7 .30 pm
bait lug /crab/mack
rigs 2 hk flappers 2/0 hooks
result bass to 44 cm , codling to 30 cm , flounders to 28, coalies to 30 cm whiting and rockling

Greeted by huge waves they were pounding the beach and running 40 to 50 yds up the beach  wasn,t
so sure about this one .
anyway decided to give it a go ,casting out was a matter of timing ,we had to wait till there was a gap
between wave make a dash down beach cast and get back up beach before next roller came in
Got one rod out and watched ,great it held and within 5 mins i had a knock and slack line  caught
up my gear and could feel a bit of resistance ,next job was getting the timing right to run the fish up
with the surf and luckily it came together and i couldn't belive it 2 bass 8) one was 44 and the other 29 cm

fishing was good with fish comming nearly cast ,conditions wern't ideal with surf flying up beach, it was one
eye on rod and another on the sea at ALL TIMES , as tide droped weed started to move along beach
so unfortunately we had to pack up

great session pity it had to end ....but i'll be back :P

Fine fishing - I wish the beaches around here would through up as many fish.
