the rules are clear on this and anybody who fishes in a club affiliated with the ifsa has a diary with a list of rules which clearly states that bait additives are not allowd.
rules are made for a reason and i would like to know if additives were once a problem on the match scene enough of a problem to prompt this rule i am fairly new to this side of angling so can anyone remember additives being openly used
one thing i can say from my own little experience is that once the word competition is mentioned it turns some people into maniacs who will do whatever it takes to win even if it means breaking all the rules and the use of bait additives
anyone caught breaking the rules should be tossed out

i was never disputing that,perhaps the cheaters are members of the stone masons?

there is a surefire way of discovering cheaters and that is to leave a bottle of pilchard oil out on an open beach such as benone, adopt a stakeout in the dunes and wait for the perpatrators to home in on the bottle. like a flies to nectare

ya ive had direct contact with people cheating but i let it pass as i was new to the comp seen and i didnt know the rules properly but 6 year in to it i now no most of the rules and if they have to cheat to catch then that bad fishing
