New to beach fishing and was wondering were to dig for bait around the Cork area????

Try the search page, using bait cork as search terms, selecting All Terms and Display Results As: Posts .

I got 4 hits, including your message, one mentioned digging lugworm.

Sandycove in Kinsale. Go over the bridge and hang right, go about 200mt. and turn left, go 10mt and turn right. follow down around the hairpin bend and park after the lefthand bend walk back to the bend and you'll find a path going down.
