NORTH WICKLOW 9/1/10

#1 Post by mitch »

PEOPLE me /millbrook
TIDE 3 hrs droping and 3 up
TIME 8 pm to 2 am
BAIT lug /crab
RIGS 2 hook flappers 3/0 hooks for me... 3 hk flaps 2/0s for him
Wind /n/easterly force 4 to 7 later
RESULT me 11 codling , 1 flounder ,1 coalie, 3 rockling, 1 dab 28 cm
millbrook 13 codling to 34 cms,4 rockling

Forecast not great but f..kit we were going :? N11 was clear and little traffic great ,reached the back
road that takes us to beach, it was like a sheet of polished glass  took me 20 mins to do what
normally take 3 mins

Fishing was very slow and the bitterly cold wind would cut u in two. not much to report there was
just the odd fish ever other cast, It think it was just down to the slack tides our baits were comming
back in all night ,so much for the good sea that was running :|
As always it good to get out :P :P
