North Wexford 8th of Jan 2010

#1 Post by trout hunter jnr »

People:Me and the elder

Duration:3.30 til 19.00

Tide:Well doesnt make adifference cos i believe itwas neap tides

Weather:Coold :(

Bait:Frozen and live lug tipped with mac

Rigs:3 hooks if there is such a thing

Results: 10 codling 5 coalfish 5 flounder 1 dab 1 rockling

Report:After a cold day in ballyhack we knew that we couldn't have been as successful as yesterday and started bearing the freezing conditions. Thankfully they werent looking lyk they were going to be proven true when a good sized, biggesst 1 ever caught by the big man, flounder was reeled in by himself in the 1st half hour or hour into fishin. Fishin was not satisfactory for the last hour or so sadly and just for the 3 hours had ok fishin with a fair few casts with nothing at the end.

When we headed back to the warmth of the jeep we were greeted with pleasent news that Batt O keffe had given me the dey off til Thursdey which prompts the word equation

LESS SKOOL = MORE FISHIN

OH HAPPY DAYS   8) 8) :D :D :) :P 8)

Fisherman's prayer:
God grant that I may live to fish, For another rainy day.
But when my final cast is made, I then most humbly pray.
When nestled in your landing net, As I lay peacefully asleep.
You'll smile at me and judge, That I'm "good enough to keep"!
