silverstrand 7/1/10

#1 Post by chrisfeeney30 »

People:myself, nickcamp24, eoin tarmey

Duration:10.30-1.30am

Tide:dropping

Weather:Easterly wind, clear skies and freezing!

Bait:razor,mack,squid and lug

Rigs:flappers and long and lows

Results:myself: coalies

Report:Decided to give the backbeach of silverstrand a go again..after another cliff hike we arrived at our destination. Baits were put out in all directions and i got a coalie on my first cast. I decided o put out a big bait out further to try for something better..didnt get anything so decided to put the flapper back on.. got another coalie and then another. Was extreamly cold tonight.. my drink had ice in it and ice was forming on my bag! I also reeled one of the lads trace which had cracked off with a coalie on it haha Anyway nice to get out again!
