Tide:down and up
Weather: dry calm and cold(not as cold as its been in galway)
Bait: lug/mackeral/squid
Rigs:2 hook long range
Results:me 5 codling (biggest 12") 3 small dabs and 4 small whiting. kev 1 small dab ,3 whiting 2 codling and small ling i think
Report:great to get fishing again ,travelled the m/way to bray from ballinasloe as the roads around galway are sheets of ice ,we were there and fishing within 2 hrs.

I reckon the small ling are Rockling of some kind. they are pretty common around that stretch.

fair play to ya steve. 13 hours in those conditions
, you deserved to get a few for your efforts
and there was me thinking we were the only nutters out doing those sorts of sessions
at least we can be safe in the knowledge that we'll have a bit of company in the big padded room soon enough
bit tricky trying to get your arms outta those comfy coats where the arms wrap the whole way around your back
