Teelin Pier.

#1 Post by markj »

People:Meself and Adrian

Duration: 17:00 --> 21:30

Tide: Not sure, it was well in at that stage.

Weather: Blustry, overcast.

Bait: Mackerel, squid, sandeel

Rigs: Two hook flapper, two hook scratching rig, & long range bomber.

Results: 11 whiting, up to 1lb, 5 dogs, 1 star fish and a hugh crab!!

Report: Cant remember the name of these crabs, the large ones that are caught in pots? A combination of every bait was used to tempt the fish. Was a bit stormy to fish from the rocks behind the factory so just stayed at the pier. There was some man out it a little boat catching mackerel, about 200 yards from the pier out in the main channel.
