greystones south 2-1-10

#1 Post by roger de dodger »

People:one nutter

Duration:8 till 10.45

Tide:rising

Weather:force 4 north easterly

Bait:lug crab and squid

Rigs:3 hook flapp and pully

Results:one 28cm codling one 20cm coaly and one 24cm whiting

Report:due to work over christmas i hadnt been out in a while so with a slight improvement in the roads i ventured as far as greystones to blow the cobwebs away  the sea was quite rough  and the rain and sleet made for a numbing few hours fishing gave up early as the conditions where making spotting bites near impossible  big breakers hammering the beach as the wind picked up in the last hour,i,d say it would fish well today if it has calmed down a bit
