Re: mono or braid for multiplier??
Mono would be your best bet on a multiplier Aaron imagine trying to pick out a braid birdsnest
Suffix tritanium in 15 to 20lb depending on the ground your fishing would be ideal on your slosh but thats my favourite line other lads use other line they swear by so a lot is down to personal preference.

Re: mono or braid for multiplier??
i use ultima distance in yellow 15lb on my abu and wouldnt change it as ive never had any problems. others might dissagree tho. as bigsod said mainline is a personal preferance.
if its your 1st multi it might be worth putting cheap 20lb line on it if you have some. much easier to pick out the nests till you get a feel for the reel.

I agree, brilliant line. I wouldn't go for braid on a multiplierbigsod wrote:Mono would be your best bet on a multiplier Aaron imagine trying to pick out a braid birdsnestSuffix tritanium in 15 to 20lb depending on the ground your fishing would be ideal on your slosh but thats my favourite line other lads use other line they swear by so a lot is down to personal preference.

Re: mono or braid for multiplier??
i love braid on my mag casts like a dream great bite detection plus you get the extra lbs to diametre with braid, just use tapered shockleader i prefer daiwa tournament great for knots, just treat the line the same as mono keep it tight on the spool when your winding back in and you will have no problems even just try it dont be affraid of it ........
